AQA 63336 head to head with BBC's Eggheads

Crack team of AQA 63336 researchers compete against UK quiz champions

4 June 2008

The Eggheads are a team made up of five quiz champions who, each day on BBC2, are challenged by a new team made up of 5 contestents. This Wednesday, it was AQA 63336's turn. We pulled together some of our top researchers, sent them on their way to BBC studios, and waited with baited breath to see how they would fare against a team that included a winner of the British Quiz Championship, European Quiz Championship, World Quizzing Championships, Fifteen to One, Mastermind, Brain of Britain and Mind Sports Olympiad – and that was just one of the Eggheads! (Kevin Ashman).

Whilst the AQA 63336 team technically answered more questions correctly than the Eggheads, it was the final 3 questions that ultimately decided the winner. Sadly, it was not to be AQA's day, but the team did themselves and ourselves proud, not least to mention knocking out the aforementioned Kevin Ashman in the earlier stages.
